In this hand-crafted tour we dig deeper, way beyond the obvious experiences every other tourist would typically have. On this custom designed, very small group insider journey, you’ll begin in the picturesque countryside of Burgundy.

As your home for the first 4 nights, you will lodge at the charming Hotel Belle Epoque, a former wine merchant’s home. The accommodations have been restored in the traditional Burgundian style.

From your comfy home base, you’ll discover the culinary delights of the region through hands-on experiences including, a private cooking class in a Chef’s home followed by a bountiful lunch and excellent wines,

Your journey continues with an exclusive visit to a Dijon mustard making facility with a delicious tasting, wine tastings in the lush hills of Burgundy

with a 3-course gastronomic meal with sommelier selected wines and an opportunity to purchase wine at vineyard prices.

Visits to the best local food markets including Beaune’s weekly open market and Dijon’s Les Halles.

You will also enjoy a creative cocktail tasting tour with the famed regional Kir as the highlight. You’ll dine on local cuisine including Burgundian favorites like Beef Bourguignon, coq au vin, gougere, escargots, Poulet de Bresse and gingerbread.

Then it’s off to perfect Paris, the most alluring city in France, if not the world.

As you spend time in the City of Light, we will treat you to the majesty of Paris through exciting events following in the footsteps of Julia Child, a true insider tour to the spots where the culinary icon immersed herself in the French food world.

You’ll learn the golden nuggets of information about Julia’s life in Paris rarely shared with regular visitors to the city. You’ll participate in a hands-on delicious pastry making class of Julia’s favorites under the guidance of an expert master chef in an intimate culinary learning center that overlooks the flowing Seine river.

A day in Champagne will leave you breathless as we transverse the countryside outside of Paris with our champagne expert, WSET wine professional, Cynthia.

You’ll visit very special champagne houses and small villages with walks through the pastoral vineyards and a lavish lunch in an idyllic setting in the countryside.


We will explore the hillside neighborhood of Montmartre, but not the usual spots everyone sees. Our back-door approach will have you exploring the nooks and crannies of the area culminating in an incredible lunch at a very hidden spot.

Day 1

Sunday, September 1, 2019 Beaune

Welcome to Beautiful Burgundy!

Transportation will meet you at the Beaune train station and transport you to the hotel.

Check in to Hotel Belle Epoque

Afternoon free to walk around and acquaint yourself with the picturesque town of Beaune. We meet in the courtyard of the hotel for a glass of bubbly before we walk to dinner.

Welcome to Burgundy dinner with wine – we will discuss our agenda for the next 4 days.


Day 2

Monday, September 2, Beaune/Wine Tour of Burgundy

Eat, drink, rest and repeat!

Breakfast in the hotel

Pick up at hotel for a full day of wine tasting and a 3 course gastronomic lunch as we meander through the hills of Burgundy. We stop at the famed Clos du Vougeot wine museum.

Remainder of the day to rest and relax

Dinner on own. You will be provided with a list of our recommended choices

Day 3

Tuesday, September 3, Beaune/Dijon/Beaune

Breakfast at the hotel

A day of cooking in Dijon!

We take the train to Dijon today and will be greeted by Chef Alex at the train. We will enjoy a cup of coffee and homemade pate. Under the culinary wisdom and knowledge of Chef Alex we will visit the famed Les Halles market to pick up ingredients for lunch. You might want to pick up some cheese, charcuterie, wine and bread for dinner tonight!

We will proceed to Chef Alex’s home for a private cooking class, we will cook a 3-course meal and then enjoy wines with our late lunch

Enjoy some time to yourself in Dijon before we return to Beaune

Day 4

Wednesday, September 4, Beaune/Nuits-St-George/Beaune

In search of the Black Pearl of Burgundy!

Breakfast at the hotel

We will spend the morning in Beaune exploring the weekly farmer’s bounty market and a visit to the local Museum.

Lunch on your own

We will travel like locals by train to Nuits-St-George, where we will visit a local Crème de cassis museum and cocktail bar. We will sample the Black Pearl of Burgundy, the Kir, which has been around since the 1800’s – Crème de cassis with Burgundy Aligote (white wine)

Farewell Dinner: 3-course dinner with wine

September 5, 2019: Beaune/Paris

Paris here we come!

Departure from the hotel to walk in the footsteps of Julia Child. Visits to intimate food shops, markets, culinary-focused ateliers and more with an expert culinary guide

Departure from rue Montorgueil to culinary kitchen on the Seine, private pastry making class. Enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Remainder of afternoon free

Dinner at a lovely Parisian local favorite dining spot.

September 7, 2019

A day of the bubbly-Champagne!

Breakfast in the hotel

Departure to Champagne region by private coach with champagne expert Cynthia. As we depart Cynthia will begin her introduction to Champagne-the methods, grape varieties, styles and more.

Arrival in Verzenay, climb to the top of Verzenay Lighthouse for a beautiful view of Champagne, visit museum of vine/wine plus a tasting from a small grower and a walk in the vineyards.

Lunch in the adorable town of Sillery for a gastronomic lunch in an idyllic setting in the countryside.

Arrival to Reims with an exclusive visit to the Reims cathedral and the stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall.

Second champagne house visit and then a drive through possibly via Hautvilliers (where Dom Perignon lived)

A Day on the Butte! The Secrets of Montmartre revealed

Morning departure with our Montmartre expert. Exploration off the beaten track of the Montmartre neighborhood. Secret haunts and undiscovered paths will be revealed. Time away from the crowds uncovering Montmartre’s storied past will be a morning treat!

Lunch at a secret hidden spot

Afternoon free to enjoy the last day in Paris. A list of secret places to explore will be given
