“Grande Blues” Limeade Recipe

Blueberry and lime simple syrup Ingredients
1 package (4.4 ounces) Hurst Berry Farms “Grande Blues” Blueberries (Our sponsor, Hurst’s Berry Farm*, provided us with amazing blueberries for this featured recipe!)
Directions to make blueberry and lime simple syrup
1Place all ingredients except blueberries in a small saucepot over medium heat and stir with wooden spoon until sugar is dissolved.
2Once sugar is dissolved, bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
3Remove from heat, strain and place back on the heat.
4Add blueberries and cook for 1 more minute.
5Remove from heat and cool completely.
Directions to Make the Cocktail
1Fill a tall glass with ice.
2Add simple syrup, rum and sparkling wine, top off with water and stir until well blended.
3Garnish with lime wedge and lemon balm leaves.
