Cabbage Aglio and Olio Recipe

1 head of cabbage, blanched, quartered and cored

3 garlic cloves, roughly chopped

¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)


1In a large frying pan over medium heat, add olive oil and garlic.

2Cook until lightly golden (do not burn).

3Add hot pepper flakes (optional).

4Add cooked cabbage.

5Season with salt and pepper.

It doesn’t get any easier Tasters! This is a staple at Christmas Eve dinner table at my Mom’s house!
