Does anybody else feel like someone was playing a joke on you that Easter is April 1st this year? I sure do. Ha!

The year feels like it’s already flying by…but the good news is Spring is officially on it’s way! And boy, am I ready for it. I can’t wait for the world to come back to life again and the best way I know to come out of hibernation is to get out there and explore a new neighborhood.

I’m always ready to stretch my legs and my taste buds, and if you feel like you’re ready to come out of that cave and into the world…come with me to explore Philadelphia’s Garden District in beautiful Chestnut Hill.

Arugula, Strawberry, Goat Cheese Salad with Lemon Honey Mint Vinaigrette

Now I know that people usually think Summer when they think strawberries, but, strawberries are actually one of the first fruits to pop out in Spring! Add them to some spicy arugula, toss in some goat cheese and top it with this beauty of a vinaigrette.

Roasted Garlic

Roasted Garlic

A simple spring lunch suggestion if I may (beautifully green and good for you!) Make the roasted garlic and spread it on your crostini then top with these fava beans and drizzle with nice extra virgin olive oil. You can serve this right alongside that strawberry salad! Yum.
