Wednesday night’s pop-up shop event at Williams Sonoma at the Bellevue was white hot—and just stoked my excitement for Dîner en Blanc Philadelphia 2016!
So here’s the thing about DEB–the location is kept a total secret until only minutes before–and each guest has to bring everything needed for a “chic pop up picnic”–food, china, settings, decor, table, chairs and linens–everything. The participants literally transform a public city space into an outdoor fine dining white wonderland. How the heck do you do that?
So Laura Eaton and I demonstrated logistics for that night–from the kind of table and chairs, to the easiest, most beautiful table decor to pack and transport, to what to cook and how to pack your perfect picnic basket for a delicious, elegant meal under the stars.
As promised, I’m sharing my menu from last year and the all white menu from this year that I featured at last night’s event!
