Come Stroll With Me in September for the Unique Tastes of Philly

Tastes of Philly

The heat of the summer will soon be over for us Philadelphians with Fall only thee weeks away. Fall is the perfect time to do something unique before the busy and cold holiday season sneaks up “putting too much on our plates.” No pun intended. It is always about food with me.

That is why I love September to gather people together for unique, tasting tours of our very own Philadelphia food businesses as well as restaurants. It’s one of the best times to stroll around our historical city, and the places we go are some of Philadelphia’s most treasured destinations.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - December 23, 2016: People shopping in Italian Market, an area of South Philadelphia featuring delis, grocery shops, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, cheese shops, butcher shops, many with an Italian influence.

  • The Italian Market is a special part of South Philly and home to cafes, restaurants, bakeries, cheese shops and other delicious food stores.
  • Chestnut Hill is Philadelphia’s garden district and known for its historic buildings. The Morris Arboretum Rose Garden, and The Market at the Fareway are among wonders our city has to offer.
  • Passyunk Avenue is known as one of Philadelphia’s most exciting food destinations.
